John Hughes, the Compton Recs’ outside right, who did so well for Liverpool F.A. in their win over Lancashire F.A., is already a signed Liverpool player, and so is Kenneth Baxter, the Worsley Boys’ Club left half-back, who showed up so prominently with Lancashire. Such signings augur well for the future of Liverpool.
