Now to the other side of the picture where we find that Laurie Hughes, Liverpool’s young centre-half, will be unable to play against Bolton Wanderers at Anfield tomorrow evening in the Reds’ opening home game. Hughes injured an ankle at Burnley on Saturday. This is an unfortunate start to the season, but these things happen.
