It is odds how and when we meet the folk, is it not? Ben Dabbs, Liverpool’s well-remembered full back, was in our area this week. He is on Watford’s books. Came from Oakengates, where Harry Chambers went his winning way after making so many friends in Liverpool. Harry is still in Shropshire, still smiling; but is troubled with “screws” that do not “bolt” half quickly enough!
