Liverpool F.C. visit the Liverpool Orphanage


August 19, 1947
Members of Liverpool football team have been staying at the Derwentwater Hotel, Portinscale, and on Friday (August 15, 1947) they visited Liverpool Orphanage, which has been evacuated from Liverpool for the last six years. The team gave the youngsters autographs, and also signed their names on a football.
