Bobby Locke (South Africa) finished two strokes behind Henry Ransom, who, with a 72 holes aggregate of 276, won the Wilmington £2,500 open golf tournament at Wilmington, North Carolina today.
Locke shared second place with three other competitors.
Berry Nieuwenhuys, the former Liverpool footballer, who held a professional appointment in England before being appointed assistant to Locke in South Africa, finished with a total of 305.
