Liverpool have had to make one change for to-night’s game with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough, as Jimmy Payne has not recovered from the ankle injury he received against Hull City on Saturday.
Moran, who was regarded as the more doubtful of the two who suffered injuries last week, passed a fitness test yesterday, so that John Molyneux, the former Chester full-back, will not be making his senior debut after all.
Molyneux was taken out of the reserve side against Wolves on Monday in case he should be needed to-night, but Jackson who now fills Payne’s place, played in that match, and had quite a good game.
