Eddie Spicer, former Liverpool full-back, whose career was ended by a broken leg two years ago, was last night presented with a cheque for £86 by Liverpool Supporters’ Club, as their contribution to his benefit fund.
Everton as well as Liverpool players attended the function, and Everton Supporters’ Federation, who are running a concert at Bootle to-night in aid of the fund, will later hand over the proceeds of their own efforts.
