Liverpool F.C. players meet the pensioners

Members of Liverpool Football Club yesterday played the Anfield branch of National Old Age Pensioners’ Association – at bowls. Some of the team are seen in action at Lower Breck Recreational Ground watched by their opponents. Bowling (left to right) are Don Campbell, John Arkwright, Tom McNulty, Bobby Campbell, Roy Saunders and John Molyneux. Watching are Mr. S. Rawlinson, Mr. H. Powell, Mr. W. Randell, Mr. W. Griffiths, Mr. C. Goulstone, Mr. Phil Godfrey (mascot) and Mr. R.W. Kenworthy.
