Shankly calms Morrissey down

Mr. Bill Shankly, the Liverpool manager, said last night that after a talk with Johnny Morrissey, the club’s nineteen-year-old winger, Morrissey had settled his differences with the club. He threatened recently to ask for a move. (Daily Mirror, 18-02-1960)
