Jimmy Ross, who after ten years’ connection with Preston North End was on Saturday transferred by his old club to Liverpool for a consideration of £75, has emphatically stated that under no circumstances will he play with Liverpool. Sooner than leave Preston he threatens to renounce first-class football altogether.
