John Glover replaces Crompton in the Inter League match

The management committee of the Football League met at the Tavistock Hotel, Convent Garden, Friday evening, Mr. John James Bentley presiding. The President reported that under very exceptional circumstances he had released Bob Crompton (Blackburn Rovers) from taking part in the inter League match between England and Ireland after consulting certain members of the committee, and arranged for Glover (Liverpool) to take his place.
