The annual report and statement of accounts of the Stoke Football Club shows a most successful season’s working. On a total income of £3,546 the club returned a net profit of £882.
The actual profit was much greater, as the club paid the £300 for entrance to the Football League and the £250 fine inflicted by the Southern League for leaving that body contrary to rule, entirely out of revenue.
