The biggest transfer of the season was made yesterday, when the Arsenal Club signed on Fred Pagnam, the centre forward of the Liverpool Club, at £1,500.
Pagnam used to play with Blackpool and Huddersfield, and during the war while serving in the army played for Arsenal.
