Huge profit for 1920/21

Liverpool Football Club’s annual report shows a profit of £12,490, and a dividend of 5 per cent, is declared for three years. The gross gate receipts totaled £46,000 from League and Central League games alone. £10,000 was paid in entertainment tax, players’ wages absorbed £10,699, and benefits £1,650.
