Donald Mackinlay the new Liverpool F.C. captain

Liverpool have accepted the resignation of Ephraim Longworth from the captaincy of the club, and Donald Mackinlay has been appointed to the position. The team to oppose Birmingham at St. Andrews, on Saturday, will not include John Bamber, who is left out for the first time in his career.
