On Tuesday evening Manager Tom Craig, Falkirk, announced that he had signed a new centre-half in the person of Hugh Robertson, a 19-years-old player who was formerly with Grange Rovers and Liverpool.
Robertson, who is a joiner to trade and resides in Bo’ness went south on a trial period, at the end of which he decided that he preferred to remain in Scottish football. He played a most successful trial game for Falkirk ‘A’ against the Celtic reserves last Saturday.
The new Brockville pivot is of powerful physique, is a two-footed player, and is particularly good in his head-work.
